Club History

The Rotaract Club of Toronto – Don Valley is a service club for young adults 18-30 years of age. Our members are comprised of a diverse group of enthusiastic, compassionate, like-minded individuals who want to make a difference in their community by putting our motto, “Service above Self,” into practice. Sponsored by Rotary Club of Toronto - Don Valley, our members strive to fulfill the four avenues of service:

  • Community Service- Volunteering and fundraising for a variety of charitable and non-profit organizations such as Eva’s Initiatives, Salvation Army, Easter Seals Society, Helen Keller Centre, CNIB, New Frontiers, Raptor’s Foundation
  • Foundations, Sunnybrook and Women’s Foundation, and the Canadian Foundation of Physically Disabled Persons.
  • International Service- Participating in fundraisers and correspondences that aid and promote international causes.
  • Professional Development- Learning and developing skills and abilities in order to prepare them for the professional world.
  • Club Service- Encouraging new friendships through fun fellowship activities, such as group dinners, membership nights,
